EXTRA HEAVY DUTY - Extra high density nickel PTFE tape resists stringing, shredding while providing superior sealing performance.
HIGH PERFORMANCE - 4.0 mil double-thick PTFE tape has nickel flakes blended with PTFE resins which offers excellent lubrication, prevents seizing and galling.
VERSATILE - Ideal on all types of metal and plastic threaded connections with worn threads and surface imperfections.
RESISTANT - Resists chemicals, acids, alkali’s, caustics, corrosives, fuels, gases, refrigerants, solvents and other aggressive compounds.
WIDE RANGE OF METALS - Use on stainless steel, carbon steels, alloys, inconel, monel and other exotic metals.
HIGH PRESSURE APPLICATIONS - Withstands pressures up to 10,000 P.S.I.
MILITARY SPECS: T-27730A and CID A-A 58092
TEMPERATURE RANGE: -450°F to +550°F.
