  • QWIK-SLIDE™ DESIGN - Utility blade quickly extends and retracts for fast repetitive cutting.
  • INSTANT BLADE RELEASE - Simply pull back the locking release button to remove and install a new blade. Replaceable utility blades ensure maximum cutting efficiency.
  • AUTOLOADING BLADES - Once a blade is dull, simply remove the old blade, retract the slide button and slide it forward again to extend a new blade.
  • INTERNAL BLADE STORAGE - Reduce down time and blade handling danger by storing up to eight blades internally in the knife's handle (five blades are included).
  • HEAVY-DUTY BLADE HOLDER - Provides superior strength and durability.
  • HI-VIZ YELLOW AIRCRAFT ALUMINUM BODY - Provides high strength with reduced weight for easier carrying and superior corrosion resistance.
    Hi-Viz yellow housing makes the knife easier to locate.
  • AUTOMATIC LOCKING BLADE - Automatically locks the blade in the extended position for cutting. Locks securely when retracted for safety when not in use.
  • BUILT-IN CARABINER - The rear-mounted, spring-loaded carabiner offers the convenience of hooking the knife onto a key ring or belt loop.
  • OPTIONAL CARRYING POUCH [K-M NO. 83-1692] - An available nylon pouch can be used to carry and store the Qwik-Slide™ Autoloader 2 or other Kimball Midwest utility knives, including 83-1998, 83-1690 and 83-1626.
