PROTECTS BRAKE SYSTEM FROM PRESSURE DROPS - Valve closes to protect the system air supply from dropping below 70 P.S.I. (due to air loss from downstream applications). Assures brake integrity in the event of a reservoirsystem failure or when accessories draw down the system pressure.
EASY INSTALLATION - Mounts inline with the reservoir tank via 1/4" NPT ports. Arrow on the valve body indicates direction of air flow. Ports are labelled "I" for input and "O" for output.
SPECIFICATIONS - Material Construction: Black anodized aluminum with a stainless steel spring and a Buna-N diaphragm. Max Pressure: 200 P.S.I. Working Pressure: Valve opens at 80 P.S.I. and closes at 70 P.S.I. Working Temperature: -40°F to +180°F. Ports: 1/4" NPT. Flow: 48 SCFM fully open.
APPLICATION - Transpiration air brake systems, air suspension and cabin controls for trucks, trailers, RVs, buses and all transit and rail uses.
