Product Details

  • Vandlgard nut is threaded onto bolt normally using a standard wrench. Wrenching hex separates from the cone nut at predetermined torque level. Installed Vandlgard nut presents a smooth, tamper resistant surface with constant clamp force.
  • To remove, thread on second Vandlgard nut and twist off hex. Remove the remaining conical nut. Install this conical nut in the inverted position. Squeeze both nuts firmly with vise-grips and remove both nuts together. Original bolt is undamaged and ready for reuse.
